DORI (Distributed Outdoor Robotic Instruments) is a remote-controlled robot project created by 3 university students at Simon Fraser University. It is a simulated extraterrestrial data logging mission, and it will be deployed deep in the Canadian wilderness in April 2015.
DORI uses an experimental robot architecture where individual components are distributed across a large shared network. A collection of nine individual nodes collaborate to perform data collection and storage.
