The DORI core has 4 primary abilities:

1. Nodes emit sensor values
2. The values are logged
3. A connection is established
4. The log files are downloaded for analysis

We have recently completed the driver code to perform file transfers over the CAN bus. A cell phone is used to signal DORI that it should connect to our server and begin transferring a file. (We can’t connect directly to DORI, because 3G internet connections can’t receive incoming network connections.) A small video of this process can be seen below.
